There are literally hundreds of secret societies, clubs, and organizations. Many no longer exist while others remain strong.
The Cyclopaedia of Fraternities (also known as Cyclopędia of fraternities; a compilation of existing authentic information
and the results of original investigation as to more than six hundred secret societies in the United States, compiled and
edited by Albert C. Stevens, assisted by more than one hundred members of living secret societies), published in 1899 and
1907 has over six-hundred listings. When you see an emblem with an acronym that you aren't familiar with or simply find an
acronym without an emblem, try matching up the acronym with the following list. Then enter the name you find into an Internet
search engine. You may be pleasantly surprised with how many results you get.
