THE POSING PORCH. This modest porch was the setting of many John Johnson photographs of women and children, but none of the images yield a clue to the location or identities. The same youngster in the white winter coat is seen with two sisters on page in another image, and the trio appears with another woman on a different image. The various images of the trio suggest this child is younger brother to the two sisters. Is he standing here with one of his grandmothers?<br />
