TAILORED ELEGANCE. While the style of the ensembles worn by these two young women are quite different (see image LB213), the portraits are composed very similarly. Both portrait sessions also included second images, without the hats. The image set beside the door demonstrates John Johnson's controlled use of bright shadow, rather than direct sunlight.<br />
