Cape May, New Jersey. 1872. The John Beniset House was built "on spec" by Peter McCollum, a builder in Cape May in the late nineteenth century. The second owner named the Gothic Revival cottage the "Linda Lee" for his daughter. Ornate brackets, corbels and spindle work make this home a true "confection".
