Glendale, California. 1929. Elegant, plaster covered, wooden pillars flank the entrance to the living room, which is still lit by the original polychromed, wrought iron chandelier. The fireplace boasts tiles by Batchelder of a forest scene. The furniture belonged to the owner's aunt and uncle, and dates from the 1930's, exactly what would have been found in the house originally. There is even a period Victorola in the corner, which still works, but takes a bit of elbow grease to wind. RELEASED
