Early Sport Kings were available in 8-, 9-, and 10-foot models with four floor plans available for each model. Seen here is an 8-foot model, with a Dinette floor plan, that sold for approximately $845. The Sport King’s owner has gone to great lengths to keep the interior authentic to the era. Interior embellishments include a copy of Outdoor Life magazine, a vintage 35-millimeter camera, hand-pump Black Flag bug sprayer, and a Hiawatha water jug. Of particular note is the late 1940s vintage linoleum with a cowboys-and-Indians motif, a real treasure for collectors.
