DOUBLE EXPOSURE
Photographer John Johnson used the big double doors of an outbuilding-perhaps the frame barn he built in his back yard in 1908-to frame this image in which he tested his creativity and experimented with a double exposure. The six figures are three people photographed twice. His wife Odessa stands at right and sits in the center of the group.
