New Orleans, Louisiana. 1870's. This delightful, single shotgun cottage was built in a garden of the Faubourg Marigny, the site of the former plantation of the Count of Marigny and New Orleans's first suburb. The cheerful color scheme brightens what was originally a sadly neglected home before it was rescued and restored.
