During the mid-1920s, auto and motor camping was popular enough to claim its own monthly magazine, Motor Camper and Tourist. The destination-oriented magazine also had articles on camp etiquette, the latest motor camping accessories, a question-and-answer section, jokes, and even a primer on the use of radios (the publisher also produced a radio magazine).
