ODESSA JOHNSON AT 1310 A STREET, 1918. Widow Odessa Price (1891-1953) of Kansas City, Kansas, married John Johnson of Lincoln on August 20, 1918. Here Odessa sits on the porch swing of the Johnson home in Lincoln. The elegant white dress and high-heeled white shoes may be her wedding ensemble, as she is perusing the Ladies Home Journal from the same month as her wedding. She worked at Lincoln's Hardy Furniture Company for 30 years.
