A wall fountain designed by Arthur and Nina Zwebell sits on a tall stucco wall on a property line at the Patio del Moro in Los Angeles. The narrowness of the courtyard did not permit a central fountain like the Zwebells used on their other courtyards. Not only does the fountain provide the water element necessary to a courtyard, but it also breaks up the monotonous stucco surface. The trickling water enhances the serene mood, along with lush plantings of bamboo and banana trees.
