Loren and Rhonda Perkins have, for many years, operated the Storie Retreat Bed and Breakfast in Northern California's scenic Feather River canyon. A few years ago they purchased a battered Airtream trailer and towed it to their property with the long-term goal of restoring it. As soon as they parked the old Airstream they had their guests asking if they could stay in the old trailer. Their guests said staying in the trailer brought back memories of past family vacations. In short order, Loren and Rhonda were combing the countryside looking for other silver palaces to populate the addition to their cabins. They now have eight Airstreams (an assortment of Tradewinds, Safari's, and Overlander's) and a Streamline Countess.
