FUR FINERY
This woman standing in front of the Shipman house at 851 University Avenue, proudly displaying her sheepskin jacket may be Clara Shipman (1868-1919) who was born in West Virginia. The photograph is brilliantly rendered. The composition and the woman's expression are studies in authority.
